Bluray rips

I thought I'd create an all new topic for this, since I'm going to gather the rest of the Disney movies in HD as well, so I might as well post them here. In the future I'll probably just post the .mkv versions, Beauty and the Beast is exceptionally in .avi because of the Stay MEP. :)


Okay, so. I converted the .mkv file to .avi, works just fine in Vegas. Looks a bit odd in the preview but I did a test render and the rendered version is as it should be. Also, the audio doesn't work in Vegas, but that's probably not a problem. Original filesize ~4GB, output size ~7GB.
I'll keep seeding for a while, but please let me know when you all have the file since this is still my boyfriend's computer. xD I also hope I did everything right.

Since I'm the only one seeding it will be SLOW. But I'll try to seed as often and as much as possible so you guys should keep your torrents on as much as possible too, especially because of the time differences. I'm testing this at work, trying to get it downloaded here. I hope this works, if it doesn't, I'll have to think of something else. xD

I'll just leave my computer open until I have the whole thing, and then I will do my best to seed as well once I've got it all.

Thanks for doing this Sawnah. Also, tell your boyfriend thanks since it is his computer and all--he may not realize it, but his computer sure is rather instrumental in this process!

I have connected to the seed and have .4% and counting!

It's so exciting, because I have never had a torrent where I knew the peers. It probably seems silly, but I get a kick out of the fact that our computers are connected right now. XD

Yup xD I'm gonna leave it on as much as he allows me to, it's gonna be on while I'm at work and while we're at home so that's most of the day, I probably can't talk him into keeping it on during the nights tho. We'll see. :D

Also, as a general statement to everyone in this MEP, it would be nice if you could tell us when you have the whole file, so that Sawnah can know when she can stop seeding. I'm sure her boyfriend would like his computer back at some point. XD

I started the download this morning but I don't know how much it will take... torrent says 17-16 hours... @__@

I've finished downloading and am seeding it now!

Although, I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but when I try to import the video into Vegas, it just says "stream attributes could not be determined" for the video. :/ This seems to happen to me with some .avi files. Is there a codec I'm missing or something? I'm pretty sure that I have both divx and xvid, and like I said, it's only with some .avi files, so it's really weird. :/

I just use this instead of a bunch of different codecs and pretty much everything works for me. If it doesn't work, try restarting your computer and Vegas and if it doesn't after that I really don't know what could be the problem.

Hmmm, if it is your internet thats slow it might be worth leaving your computer on overnight to download, since less people will be online then its bound to download faster.

I FEEL VERY BAD BUT I SUCK AND I CANT DOWNLOAD IT YET. i still don't have a new computer, but i am now back from the music festival i was at and glad to see you girls pushing forward on this, ALSO i saw hurts at the festival and they were AMAZING - so very glad were doing a song by them. but yeah, i'll probably be the last to download.
