Dare You To Move MEP [The Little Mermaid]

Since we're moving ahead of schedule anyway, I'm pretty sure it's alright to start this MEP ahead of when I planned. Dare You To Move won out by one vote, so I have prepared the parts below. I had to artificially lengthen it to get all twelve of us to fit, but hopefully you can't tell where the seams are. XD



Please sign up for a part! There should be one for everyone, and they're all roughly the same size (which believe me, was no small feat). I know that last part might seem twice as long as the other ones, but since a third of it is the outro, it effectively has the same amount of substance.

The procedure will be the same as with the Stay MEP--we will each edit in turn until the whole MEP is finished. Each editor will have a time limit of two weeks to complete their part.

Keep in mind that if you want part 1, your two weeks start effectively the moment you sign up.

Should we maybe change the deadline from three to two weeks instead? I mean, I think we all agree that once we get working on our part, none of us probably will use the two weeks to edit it daily, and that way the full MEP will be finished faster (given that there are 12 parts, three weeks for each will take forEVER). And there's really no masking most likely, so two weeks should be quite enough. At least I think so.

Could I have part 10 Neriede?

Just letting you know now, my laptop issues are still the same, but if it's not repaired by the time it gets to the ninth part in the mep, I'll drop out (but as I've sent it off to be repaired I seriously doubt it'll take over four months to get fixed ). Just thought I'd give you the heads up in case anything does happen.

Also, I know we won't be using our own colourings for each part, but will we use one at the end of it all?

so no colourings.. finish it in two weeks and by 'edit in turn'.. does that mean part 1's editor submits their part, which triggers the editing of part two etc?

Miranda, that is a good question--once the whole MEP is put together, and I'll look at it and see if it needs one. If I decide to put a coloring over the whole thing, I'll run it by you girls first and let you see what it looks like. Sound good? :3

I HAS A QUESTION.
We're not editing this by like.. part's in the movie are we? we can use any part from the movie..right? or..no? xD

As long as it makes sense and flows with all the parts that come before yours, then yes, if I'm understanding you correctly Momo.

The "one-editor-at-a-time" set-up is to to make sure that we don't end up using the same cutscenes over and over, and to ensure that the MEP looks unified and is of the highest quality. Long process, but worth it in the end. :>

That part is currently reserved for Mia, Jessy.

She hasn't been able to log into the forum, so I've sent her a message through Youtube to confirm her acceptance of the part.

However, IF for some reason she turns the part down, I will get back to you.

I think I said this before but I need to make sure for some reason. xD I hope everyone's clear that we're only using The Little Mermaid 1 and the sequels can go fuck themselves. :D

Jessy, I'm sorry you couldn't join us for this MEP, but if for some reason any girl cannot do her part, you will be the first person I contact.
