movie dedication MEP (Pocahontas); song suggestions

Hey girls!

Now that the Little Mermaid dedication mep is up (and it's amazing!), Neriede, Sanna and I figured we could start with the next dedication MEP. According to the votes for the last mep, Pocahontas is up next and I've been given the pleasure of hosting this mep.

Song will be Somewhere Only We Know by Keane

As for suggestions, I think I tried suggesting this for the B&tB MEP, but I'm gonna suggest it again here, just because I like how the meaning of 'alien' means 'foreigner', and I think it would work well with quite a few of the themes in Pocahontas:

I really like your first suggestion! I think the lyrics fit really well.

My first suggestion is this song, because it reminds me of the way Pocahontas and John teach other things

I think the Alien song is great o.o I actually think it's so great that I'll stop browsing my music folder. It fits SO well... :D "brother" could be Thomas from John Smith's point of view and the .. lyrics just work so well with Pocahontas!

Oh, and I love The Call! It's one of my favorite songs. :>

I really like alien. I wanted to use that for a lilo and stitch video but that didn't work out- so this would be fun to do too! The Call is pretty too. ..I like both! >D

A lot of the lyrics focus on nature which is a pretty big theme in the film and it's also great for John and Pocahontas's relationship.

ooh that song from Keane is one of my all time favorites. And true, it does fit the film very well.

I basically thought the same thing. I have no life so I CAN host this, but I already took charge with the Stay MEP... :D so.. yeah. Plus I'm putting up the MEP for Axel soon. When I remember. xD

i basically have no life except working and trying to find a second job, and i've got all my university stuff finished and sorted so i basically have two months now to do whatever the hell i like so I COULD HOST THIS. but i'm not clear on what song were doing because i wasn't around when we picked. xD
